FameBaby
FameBaby covers the world of celebrity pregnancy and parenting in a timely, fast-paced BabyCenter way that’s both friendly, and fun.
Amalah
Amalah (pron. AIM-ah-lah) lives in our nation’s capital, where she makes her readers laugh and cry by obsessively chronicling her life, neuroses, pregnancy and the vagaries of first-time motherhood.
Celebrity Baby Blog
Featuring news, commentary and style trends, the Celebrity Baby Blog is THE authority on celebrity babies and their famous parents. Cookie Magazine called it “A clearinghouse of up-to-the minute facts and photos.”
Confessions of a Pioneer Woman
Award winning blogger, Ree, aka “The Pioneer Woman,” chronicles her decade-long transition from spoiled city girl to isolated ranch wife on her weblog, Confessions of a Pioneer Woman.
Dad Gone Mad
Danny Evans, the Dad Gone Mad, once believed there was glory in fatherhood. He was wrong. There is no glory. But there is plenty of humor. Dad Gone Mad is a colorful glimpse into bona fide, in-the-trenches fatherhood.
Dooce
Heather Armstrong, a former web developer, started publishing Dooce in early 2001. Her distinctive voice and harrowing tales of her stay-at-home-mom experience in suburban Salt Lake City have attracted one of the largest female audiences.
Finslippy
Called “laugh-your-lunch-out-your-nose funny” and “absolute hilarity” by its readers, Finslippy has been nominated for several awards, including Funniest Blog (2005 Best of Blogs) and Best Writing of a Weblog (2006 Bloggie Awards)?
Laid-Off Dad
Laid-Off Dad’s two favorite things are writing and being a dad, and it shows. After he lost his job in 2003, he started a blog to find humor amid the stress and penury. Readers appreciated his take on fatherhood’s ridiculous delights.
Mommy Track’d
Mommy Track’d is the working mother’s guide to managed chaos. Standing out in the crowd of mom-related websites because of its fresh and funny voice, the site’s mission is to inform and entertain time-crunched moms as they manage the daily tug of war between work and home.
Parent Hacks
At the collaborative Parent Hacks, Asha Dornfest applies the hacker ethic to parenting. Here, parents swap scrappy tricks and product recommendations - stuff that never makes it into airbrushed magazines or “expert” books.
Savvy Source
The Savvy Source for Parents is an online community founded by parents, for parents, to help parents navigate the incredibly challenging issue of identifying the best educational options for their children: preschools, camps, classes, educational toys, books, activities, etc.
Suburban Bliss
Suburban Bliss is the story of an imperfect wife, mother and woman. Melissa Summers started her website in 2003 and began attracting readers with her irreverence, candor and self-effacing style.
Sweet Juniper
Sweet Juniper was the first parenting blog to feature the voices of both a mother and father together. The conversational and very different perspectives of its authors have won over thousands of unique visitors to Sweet Juniper every day who come back for Dutch’s literate, provocative and highly-creative posts and Wood’s no-nonsense views of motherhood.
Sweetney
Infused with brainy wit and outspoken irreverence, Sweetney chronicles the life of Tracey Gaughran-Perez, an overeducated thirtysomething stay-at-home mom from Charm City, USA (that’s Baltimore, Maryland, for all you non-Hons out there).
The Mommy Blog
Witty, sarcastic, and always engaging, Mindy chronicles her life, and that of her children. She tackles the good and the bad with a broad stroke and a sense of humor that give her writing depth and an emotional pull.
Work It, Mom!
Work It, Mom! offers members many ways to share their stories, interact, network, and vent through member articles, profiles, notes, groups, and the extremely popular Q&A area.

About this blog

Welcome to The Meticulous Mommy! My name is Feng, trying hard to be a Meticulous Mommy. :) This is my second home next to my personal blog----From Dawn Till Dusk. My experiences to trying as many products and services as far as my Little Boy Nico is concerned was the main reason for creating this Blog. As a Mom, I only want the best for my son. And it pays to be meticulous enough to know most aspects, if not all, or the littlest of details of anything I provide my son, before taking the plunge of spending. It helps that the rich experiences I encountered and learned from the organization I've been working for over 10 years, allowed me to be more conscious on what I purchase and vigilant enough to fight for my rights as a consumer. ;) More about me? • AFTER SEEING THE TWO RED LINES… November 4, 2008
Hello, hello.   I know, I’ve been offline for the past weeks without much advance notice.  What happened to me? Fact is, I am very sick and on complete bedrest, yet I am happy.  I’ve been tired and exhausted vomiting and experiencing nausea most of the day (and night) but is much excited about the coming months. [...]
  • THE STORY BEHIND THE TRAJES TIPICO AND PAELLA VALENCIANA October 13, 2008
The United Nations’ Day celebration in Nico’s school will be this coming Friday but as of this writing, I haven’t had in my hands the appropriate costume for the Little Boy just yet.  Nico is expected to wear Trajes Tipico, the national costume of Spain, the country he reported on last Thursday.  Added to that, [...]
  • THE HUSH-HUSH, RUSH-RUSH SOFA SET PURCHASE October 9, 2008
My Sis, SIL and I, together with our kids made a short trip to the Mall last Saturday afternoon.  It was kinda hush-hush, rush-rush because Mom asked us to go and look for a sofa set for her still bare Lanai cum mini garden. She’s at a panic mode for so many weeks now and [...]
  • I WANT MY YAYA October 7, 2008
I Want My Yaya is a mini story book I bought for Nico during our short trip to the Mall last Saturday. From the words of the author Annette Flores Garcia, “the book explores the warm and sometimes wacky in and outs of life with and without a yaya. It also celebrates a child’s first [...]
  • OF DOG BREEDS AND THOUGHTS ON OWNING A PET PUPPY October 6, 2008
Last Saturday, we did some early morning jog and walk at Frontera Verde.  It was a very unusual family activity that we ever did as admittedly, we are just darn lazy bummers during weekends.  One thing though that motivated us to jog along Frontera Verde is our plan to buy a pet puppy for Nico.  [...]
